Various aromatics are sulfonated in glass-lined equipment via high-grade, ultra-pure sulfuric acid. Due to custom formulary techniques, CRC produces the most ‘color specific’ solutions in the aromatic sulfonic acid industry. Many customers specify CRC catalyst packages due to their corresponding high integrity.

Capital Resin’s Toluene Sulfonic Acid is manufactured to possess the following isomer distribution:
para-TSA ~ 83 – 85%; ortho-TSA ~ 12 – 14%; meta-TSA ~ 1 – 3%.
