 Phenol/Formaldehyde, Furan and Alkyd Resins
Capital Resin Corporation was founded in 1976 with a desire to provide local sourcing in the Midwest for phenolic and furan resin consumers in the foundry industry. Since our inception, we have diversified into a variety of industries, which have benefited from our production skills and direct focus on performance-oriented resin systems. The majority of our formulations are water base liquids. However, specifically engineered systems have been
installed for the manufacture and handling of solid resins as well. Additionally, Capital Resin possesses the ability to move into solvent-base liquid resin formulations.
Production efficiency stems from our vertical integration into manufacturing one of the key raw materials, formaldehyde, in the late 1980’s. Since that time, Capital Resin has developed unique formulations for applications into foaming, adhesive and coating cross-linkers, saturation resins for various media, high temperature bonding, abrasives, and reinforced composites.
