Capital Resin Corporation's pilot plant is very useful for manufacturing products in small volumes, and serves as a valuable intermediate for scaling up products from research and development to full sized production quantities.
The pilot plant has two stainless steel reactors, with capacities of 10 gallons and 65 gallons. Pilot plant reactors are pressure and vacuum rated, have a jacket type heating & cooling system, agitator, overhead condenser, and vacuum system. These features make them effective production units for small batch manufacturing and process scale up.
