Capital Resin Corporation employs 5 glass lined reactors, four of which are 4,000 gallon capacity. One glass lined reactor has 300 gallon capacity.
All glass lined reactors are pressure and vacuum rated, have jacket based heating/cooling systems, agitators, overhead condensers, and vacuum systems. PLC based control systems make them effective for batch manufacturing.
Glass lined reactors are mainly utilized to manufacture sulfonated organics – phenol and toluene sulfonic acids, styrenated phenol, substituted phenols, and alkylation reactions.
The reactors are also utilized to produce various specialty chemicals including crown ethers, composite materials, and additives for consumer products.
Glass lined batch reactors are employed in multiple tolling projects.
