Blending

Capital Resin Corporation has several sizes of tanks to blend both solids and liquids. All blending tanks have agitators, and some have jackets for heating and cooling.  Tank sizes range from 100 gallons to 5,000 gallons.  Tanks are fabricated from stainless steel, and some are lined with glass on the interior. Specialized tanks utilize auxiliary equipment such as in-line delumpers or crushers.  This equipment is used for effective deagglomeration of solids prior to blending. Blending equipment is used to make various custom blends, including isocyanate blends with hydrocarbon solvents, and solvent-based acid catalysts. Double ribbon blenders are used to process solid materials.
